Hello Frederick BioTech!

Welcome to FredCoBio.wordpress.com. This is our first post. I was having a conversation with some former and older colleagues at our most recent FITCI happy hour and we decided it was high time to start a WIKI or Blog to serve as a forum for people involved in the Frederick Biotech community to mingle, exhchange ideas, collaborate, spread rumors and just communicate about some of the things happening specifically in Frederick County. It’s not that we don’t care about what’s happening in Montgomery and Howard Counties. I’ve worked in both places over the years. To heck with the 270 commute! It is high time we dedicated some energy and effort into building the Biotech community here in Frederick so we can rescue some of our long-lost colleagues from their nightmarish commute.

So, let the festivities begin! This is clearly a work in progress. We intend to add pages linking to every Biotech Company, non-Profit or government funded Research institution in the county over the next few weeks/months.
