According to this press release Dynport Vaccine (DVC) of TJ drive in Frederick has won the exclusive rights to the DoD contract for development of a vaccine against aerosolized plague bacterium, Yersinia pestis.
No need for the conspiracy theorists to be come alarmed, since DVC doesn’t actually make anything, rather they over see contractors doing the work. It doesn’t say where this work is being done, but there is a reference to USAMRIIID being the ones who identified the vaccine candidate and that work was likely done at Ft Detrick.
The vaccine is currently in Phase II clinical trials. Any volunteers?
